Where can I sign up?

You can download our app from the App Store. To use CLINK!Gift , your payment account must be in the United States, and you must have a mobile device capable of accepting SMS messaging or email.

What should I do if I received an error message during sign-up stating that my email/phone is already registered?

If you received an error message during sign-up stating that your email/phone is already registered, that means that there is an active CLINK!Gift account that has already signed up with the phone number or email address you attempted to use. You can reset your password and use that account, or, if you have never signed up for CLINK!Gift, please contact our support team directly at support@clinkgift.com so we can help out. Please be sure to include the email address/phone number that you're trying to use to expedite the process.

How can I access my contacts?

When you download our app and sign up, CLINK!Gift you will have the option of adding select contacts from your mobile phone contacts or having CLINK!Gift access the names, phone numbers and email addresses of your mobile phone contacts and add them all automatically.

How can I invite friends to use the CLINK!Gift app?

You can address a CLINK! with either an email or cell phone number and a message will be sent to that individual notifying them that they have received a CLINK! and asking them to download the app to register and redeem their CLINK! If they do not have an iOS device, they can redeem their CLINK! from our website.

How can I reset my password?
  1. Enter your email address on the Sign in Page
  2. Click Forgot password
  3. Click Request on the pop-up screen
  4. In your email inbox, tap or click the link that was emailed to you
  5. Create a new password and log in

You can also change your password from within the app on the Account profile page.

What does it mean to have a verified account?

To confirm your identity and verify your account you will need to provide your billing address, account information and last 4 digits of your social security number . When your account is verified you can transfer money from your CLINK! Gift Account to your verified account immediately. Important information for opening a card account: To help the federal government fight funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, the USA PATRIOT Act requires all financial institutions and their third parties to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens a card account. what this means for you: When you open a card account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents, and will contact you if this is required for your account.

Why do you need the last 4 digits of my social security number and billing address?

You need to have a verified account to cash out your CLINK! Balance. Your billing address and last 4 digits of your social security are used to verify your identity. Your birthdate is optional. This is a security measure. Can I use CLINK!Gift outside of the United States?

Not yet! While we hope to make CLINK!Gift available internationally, CLINK!Gift is only accessible within the United States at this time.


Send a CLINK!

How do I send a CLINK!?

Tap on the Send icon and take your picture, or choose from your gallery. Personalize your CLINK! then add a merchant and gift value. You can address it to only one recipient but you can copy any of your contacts. To send, tap Send CLINK!

How do I send money with my CLINK!?

What is the difference between sending a Public or Private CLINK!?

If you select Private before sending your CLINK!, only the recipients addressed on the CLINK!Gift will be able to view the CLINK! and they cannot add others to the CLINK! when they respond. If you select Public before sending your CLINK!, it will be posted on the home feed and all of your “in app” contacts (your phone contacts who have downloaded CLINK!Gift) will be able to view it and respond to it.

What does it mean to keep my CLINK!Gift value private?

If you select to keep the value of your CLINK!Gift private, only the recipient will see the value of the CLINK!Gift. If you use Giftplus, your CLINK!Gift value will be added to the aggregated total of CLINK!Gifts to that recipient, but the gift value will not be viewable on your CLINK!.

Can I cancel my CLINK!?

Once a CLINK! has been redeemed it cannot be cancelled. If your CLINK! was accepted by the wrong recipient, please contact us and we will try to resolve the issue between the two parties and get the funds back into your CLINK!Gift account. CLINK!Gift can only reverse the payment with the permission of both parties. Your Gift can be cancelled for a full refund, less service fees, within 30 days of purchase if it was bought through the App and HAS NOT been redeemed. When you cancel your CLINK!, we will do our best to remove all content from the App but it is not guaranteed and we cannot be responsible for what remains on user's devices, or other social media platforms, after a CLINK! has been sent. Please contact Customer Support at support@clinkgift.com to cancel your CLINK!Gift. PLEASE NOTE: Do not send personal or financial information via email. We will contact you if we need more information. Thank you.


Redeem a CLINK!

How do I redeem a CLINK! with a Redeem Partner?

When you are at the merchant location and you are ready to pay for your goods or service, click the Redeem Banner on your CLINK!Gift (your CLINK! is saved in the CLINK! Received section of the app and in CLINK! Saved in the Account section. Decide how you would like to pay, either with your CLINK! Balance or a payment source of your choice. Hit Redeem and a voucher is created for the amount you specified. Present to the Redeem Partner will honor toward your amount due. PLEASE NOTE: Once the voucher has been created, returns, cancellations and refunds are subject to the policies of the Redeem Partner.

What is the difference between a CLINK! Redeem Partner and a CLINK! Suggested Merchant?

Our Redeem Partners will accept a CLINK! as payment toward merchandise or services in their location. The recipient can present a CLINK!Gift voucher to a Redeem Partner. CLINK! Suggested Merchants are products and services that we like and recommend as a suggested gift however, the recipient will not be able to redeem their CLINK! at that merchant location. The recipient can cash out the CLINK! gift value to an account registered with the CLINK! Gift program and use it to buy something there. Or, if they prefer, they can change the merchant for a Redeem Partner.

What if the recipient doesn't want to redeem their CLINK! at the merchant selected?

The recipient does not need to redeem the CLINK! at the merchant you suggested. The recipient has 3 choices: they can redeem the CLINK!Gift with a Redeem Partner of their choice, they can choose to save the amount to their CLINK! balance and redeem at a later time with a different partner, or they can transfer the money from their CLINK! account balance to a verified account that has been registered with the CLINK!Gift program.

What if I created my CLINK! Redeem voucher before I was ready to use it?

When you create a Redeem voucher, the merchant is notified so they will have a record of your CLINK!Gift and its value. You will need to present a form of valid U.S. ID to the merchant. If you need help with redeeming your CLINK!Gift, email us at support@clinkgift.com.


Payments

Are there limits to the CLINK!Gift values I can purchase or redeem?

There are daily and weekly limits on how much you can purchase or cash out in CLINK!Gift. You can purchase $500/day and up to $2500/week.

Are there fees associated with sending or redeeming a CLINK!?

Yes, there is a service fee for sending a CLINK!Gift that is displayed at the time of purchase. Depending on the payment source you choose these fees vary. There are no fees for redeeming your CLINK!Gift, and there are no fees when you purchase a CLINK! using your CLINK! balance.

Where do I add, edit or delete payment or cash out sources?

On your Account profile page you will see ADD PAYMENT METHOD for purchases and ADD CASH OUT ACCOUNT for cash out redeems. To delete an account, swipe to the right on the Account and tap the red delete button.

I sent a CLINK! with money and the recipient never signed up. Do I get my money back?

Yes, if a CLINK! Gift if your CLINK! is not redeemed by the recipient, contact us to cancel your CLINK!. The Gift value will be returned to your CLINK! Account balance less the service fees.

How long does it take to post money to my bank account? Debit card? Other?

With a verified account, funds should post to your bank account or debit card in real time but it depends on your bank. To have a verified account you must supply your address, last 4 digits of your social security number and account details. Some banks take longer to process funds but usually within 1-3 days.

What if the money that I cashed out to my account was not posted?

Please send us an email at support@clinkgift.com and we will follow up with you within 48 hours.

Why was my card declined?

Your card was declined by the card issuing bank or credit card company. CLINK!Gift is not provided with any reason why the card was declined (for your privacy). Contact the card issuing bank or credit card company for details regarding the transaction.

Where can I see my CLINK! transaction history?

On your Account profile page, under History, select one of the reports listed:

  • CLINK! REDEEMED list all the CLNK!Gifts you have redeemed.
  • CLINK! SAVED lists all the CLINK!Gifts saved to your account.
  • CLINK! SENT lists all the CLINK!Gifts you have sent.
  • DONATIONS lists all the donations you have made.
  • CLINK! Account lists all activity.
  • CASH OUT shows how much money you have cashed out to the account registered with the CLINK! Gift program.

How do I find out more about CLINK!Gift's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, E-sign policy or other legal documents?

These documents can be accessed at the CLINK!Gift login and signup pages, in the CLINK!Gift app under the Account section, or on our website. Please contact us at support@clinkgift.com with any questions.

Is the CLINK!Gift App secure?

Yes. PCI_DSS Level 4 certification means we abide by strict requirements to protect you and your account information, and ensure our platform is secure.

How can I report my phone as lost or stolen?

Please contact us at support@clinkgift.com and we will put your account on hold until you are ready to reinstate your account.
